Lumecca can be used on all areas of the body. Most common areas of treatment are zones regularly exposed to the sun — the face, neck, legs, hands, and arms.
Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment.
You may feel a light snap like an elastic band. Redness and slight warming usually subside within an hour. Over the next 24-48 hours you may see darkening of pigmented lesions; in the week afterwards the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone. The most visible results are after 1-2 weeks.
